So my question is, will they still let me join? Reply to this Question Share |

I checked the National Defense website for you. I could not find anything SPECIFIC about a criminal record being an issue. That is not to day it would not factor in...I could not find info the contrary. It did say you had to be free of judicial obligations for at least six months...again I am drawing a blank. If you could back on the site there is an 800 number you can call anonymously to get this info. As a Canadian I am proud of the work our forces are doing in the southern and most dangerous part of Afganistan and I applaud you. Good luck. If you are still having problems get back to me and I may have contacts who could get this info for you.
