A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

In need of some advice. I am 32 female and have been recently seeing a lovely wonderful man, but his only 23 and I'm not sure we can carry on because of age difference.

I look about 22 and he looks about 28, so he looks older, but I constantly worry what other people think, such as friend's, strangers etc... Everyone!

I feel people judge me as wrong as I'm older and also even though he wants to settle, I worry I'm past it. I really want few children and to get married and I'm about to turn 33, is there any hope for us. I don't mind having kids in my late 30's early 40's but I don't want him to be like my wife and mother my chil is old when can get someone younger. He tells me i'm being silly. I don't know. Plus I don't have much to offer and shouldn't i be offering more at 33, like my own flat etc, but I'm in houseshare and have no money and low paid job as cashier in bank.

I don't know - men my age aren't around only younger guys single and then there prob leave me for younger model. I feel No hope of settling with someone long term

oldbag agony auntHi

Your hardly 'past it' at 32, and HE finds you attractive enough to stick around. So what if people say stuff, the women are probably jealous!

If all is good, your happy, then who cares what anyone thinks. My parents had a 10yr age gap so I know it works.

Honeypie agony auntIt's you two in the relationship not everyone else, stop worrying about what others might say you are BOTH grown people.

Relax and enjoy what you have.

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntForget any age difference between the two of you. Then, go back through your submittal and see if all (else) is OK for the two of you... If "yes," then GO FOR IT!!!

Good luck...
