 As Artemesian said, if there is any doubt in your mind then you aren't ready. You shouldn't have sex until your are totally sure it's what you want and who you want to do it with.

 If you have any doubt that you're ready then you aren't ready! It's pretty simple really, if you jump into it with him you will most likely regret it later as you are still very young to be entering into sex - the act itself is only the start of it - there are many consequences and complications that can arise from it and you have to be ready for those. The fact you are doubting your readiness would indicate you're a sensible person who will hopefully listen to what your head is telling you - just wait a while until you know you are ready without a doubt : )
