reader, anonymous, writes (21 December 2006): This for you will be a lesson learned, sorry, but the hard way! Make sure in future that you insist on protected sex. For now, go to your GP and talk to him/her and explain. They will send you to an STD related clinic. Go! Get checked out, it will put your mind at rest. It happened to me a long while back. I sat in there feeling very embarassed, but i had no need. The staff are lovely, very non-judgemental! Don't worry, you are not the only one to go through this. But better to get it checked out now as to find you have a MAJOR problem later on. Please for me, go and get it checked out. Deal with it now.

You need to get tested. I've been before and it's not scary. Testing is a little uncomfortable but I can tell you having an STD will be much more uncomfortable and your life could be at serious risk. What seems more scary now? STD or the clinic?
