There was this other guy who had a main part too (he was in the year above) , and we quite often talked and stuff- i would have considered us friendsOne time he even said that if he was directing a drama rehearsal, he would definitely give me a main partThen it was the summer holidays, and we didnt see each other. Then in September we did this project thing with the year above, and I talked to him then as well. It was then that I realised that I really, really liked him.But then the project finished, and we hardly ever saw each other except saying hi in the corridor a few times. I still liked him...Then now we are doing another drama show, and he has a main part but I have only a minor part, so mostly the only time we are together is in a full cast and chorus rehearsal (about 25 people), except very occasionally when we have a minor and major part rehersal but not chorus (about 12 people)I still really really like him, but I know that he won't ever like me back unless I talk to him.The problem is, we haven't talked in ages, so I don't want it to sound weird or obvious that I like him.I'm quite scared, so I don't know whether to be brave and go up and randomly start talking to him in a full cast and chorus rehearsal (when his mates are there too) or wait for ages for a minor and major part rehearsal (when his mates aren't there)When should I talk to him? What should I say to make it seem natural and not weird or like I fancy him? What should I do????Ps. this is the last drama performance we will do together before he is too old, so really my last chance to make him like me (if possible). I only have until the summer hols!!!!sorry this has been very longplease help!! Reply to this Question Share |

You need to be brave and go up and talk to him!!! What to talk about? There are a billion things!! The weather, your performance, a band you like, a movie you like, anything to start up a conversation. Once the wheels get rolling, a conversation shouldn't be hard to continue.
You already have something in common - theater. You're obviously talented, as is he - you know he thinks you're good at what you do or else he wouldn't have said he would give you the main part in a piece he's producing.
Why don't you ask him what he's up to this summer, if he's involved in any summer theater, if he's traveling. That's a good icebreaker. But anyway, you GO GIRL, you talk to your man and see if you can wiggle your way into his thoughts...
Good luck, sweetness! (Break a leg!)
