We live long distance, have only been dating a month, and this will be his first child. He is about to go fight forest fires for the next 2-3 months. I'm afraid that telling him before he leaves might compromise his state of mind which could potentially endanger himself and others. He also had a previous relationship that ended because his girlfriend had an abortion the day after they had already told their families about having a baby. I don't want to miscarry in the first trimester and somehow be linked to that experience, then have our relationship end as well.I'd rather wait till he returns, but my friends think otherwise. Either way I will be telling him over the phone! What should I do?
