I'm also on a 28 day cycle and I have it set to avoid pregnancy, so it goes like this:
* your period start day is day 1
* you're to avoid unprotected sex on your most fertile days (days 11-16), but it recommonds also avoiding days 10 & 17-18 as a precaution.
So really, in answer to your question, it's probably impossible to tell because if you had sex on the 10th, the sperm can live inside your body for a few days and could have fertilised the egg once it released.
If you had it later in the month, the sperm may have attached to the egg that was sitting there.
I know that when you get an ultrasound, they can estimate conception but I think it's more like being able to estimate the month. I don't think they can get as specific as to a particular day in a month.
If paternity is a question, then you're facing a bit of a battle. You're not alone though on that one though; post if you need to chat about it more.

Assuming this to be correct, this is why sex before marriage is such a problem. If we were only having sex with our spouses, we wouldn't have nearly as many incidences of STI/STD's and pregnancies who the father is unknown. So I think typically - conception occurs something like 11-21 days after the first day of the last period.

Usually, you count 14 days back from your last period. That would mean that YOU, personally, having a 28 cycle, ovulate on the 14th day of your cycle, counting from the first day of your period. BUT, your body can spontaneously release an egg, on occasion, at any time in your cycle. It is not what happens every month or every time you have sex, but it does happen.
