We have been through long distance relationship for about a year, the phase where women need to know if the guy is right for her and what not, and now I'm going through a phase where I'm beginning to start to picture other women, attractive and unattractive, in my mind and sometimes short and brief fantasy. I hate doing this so much I even told her. I dont know if this was a smart decision or not...but we have an extremely open relationship and I would consider her my best friend and it was eating away at me so bad I just gave in. I'm trying to work on it but it seems as if something else always comes up and I'm constantly trying to get these thoughts out of my mind. I would never cheat on her or any sort of that but I feel that maybe this is happening because our relationship is getting a bit more serious and not to mention this is the first serious relationship I've been in so far. Someone please offer me so valid legitamite advice. If it is just some advice that will just make me feel better then move on, please!

Well it's great that you are honest about what's going on. It sounds like spiritual warfare to me. I am a Christian and I believe there is an enemy out there that will attack your thought life. If you want a real solution to your problem, here goes. For a spiritual problem you need a spiritual answer. I don't know if your a Christian or not, but from now on when the thought comes back, just say to your self "Satan I rebuke you in the name of Jesus, my mind is clear and free." Say it many times through out the day as the thoughts come and you will start to see results right away. Because the Lord wishes for all of us to have true peace of mind that the world can not give to us.
