What do I do to get rid of this insecurity I'm feeling?

hey! in a six month relationship! my girlfriend previously exited a 17 year relationship with two children ive met her six months after the break up! first three months was the best then all off a sudden she died in our relationship quite abit i dident know what to do! was it something i did or said anyway she had told me its not you its me! i couldnt work it out then one day she confessed she still had feelings for her ex and that she dident feel right in the same room! I continued to be strong for her! relationship has been funny like that for a while now but ! this one day i walked in and the house was so clean and things of mine had been hidden and she had her old hand bag not the flash one i bought her instantly i thought shes cheating and when she got home i said theres someone else would you like me to be the bigger man and leave and she said she wassenent i have a hand bag fettish instantly tryed to forgive her but she wants me to fix my insucurity. what should i do to get rid of this insecurity i feel? she wont see me till i fix it
