I've been in a long term sexual relationship before with a boy equally as inexperienced as me, but I don't feel I've actually gained any sexual experience, as he was equally as clueless as me. I'm now with someone I really love... but I am really embarressed about having sex with him as I have never really had the opportunity to go on top, and even though my new boyfriend has only ever been with one girl (me) he seems a bit of a natural in the bedroom. When we had sex (his first time) I tried going on top and he said it hurt him, so we swapped places and he enjoyed it. Sex tips and advice are everywhere in magazines etc. but I really don't have a clue where to start, rhythm, position, how to move or anything and i now doubt anything i thought i did know. any advice? Both of you... watch plenty of porn (take notes if you must) and go and buy or borrow a copy of any Sex manual (The Karma Sutra and The Joy of Sex are fines works).
They pretty much explain all you need to know going into sex.
Or simply experiment yourselves. Communicate to each other what feels good and what doesn't. Try different postions, and keep things different each time.
Don't try too hard either. Just go with the flow.
It's not that hard. After all, humans have been doing for 180,000 years now.

Do you really think that you should be or feel knowledgeable about the art of making love at the age of 16 or 17? Do you believe that this should even be important, or anything like a priority, at your age?
