We both have an interest in stuff like old time musicals and music. I really like her, and we kept in contact. I was talking to her friend and apparenty she definitely sees me as a good friend, but isnt sure about 'like like' because I havent asked her out on a date. I'm not sure what to do for a date and how ask her.Any advice?

Then when you're on the date just be yourself, you don't have to become someone your not or act like a completely different person to impress her. If she likes you it will be because she likes the 'real' you. And you don't have to take her somewhere and spend all of your money on her, take her to the cinema and then for something to eat, it doesn't have to be this amazing date. From experience the ones at the movies and then something to eat are always the best dates because you get the see the person how you normally would see them and you get to have a nice chat.
Good luck :D
