writes:Dear CupidMy bf asked me to loan the amount which i got from IRS to pay some bills. I loaned him the amount 3 days back and he didnt call me after that and i tried to reach him, he is not picking up the call and never got any reply for the text i sent him.We were together for the past 1 year. I wanted to believe he has some trouble thats y he didnt contact me, but the truth is i am scared that he used me for the money and now left me once he got what he wanted. Please help me to figure this out.

If he is not replying then he has obviously taken the money and ran, or he is seriously in some problems.Try asking some mutual friends if he is ok, and if they have heard from him, but don't tell them about him taking the money, as that could just complicate things with outside parties that don't need to know.If he hasn't gotten back to you within the week, then I would say he has taken the money and gone.Unfortunatly, because of the nature of the situation, having no contract and what not, legal authorities can't do much about it. You could call a lawyer and talk to them over the phone to see what could be done in a situation like this, but unfortunatly, without writing evidence, there is not much they can do
