writes: I have a slight issue-arranged to go out with this guy (as friends!) next week. The other day I was out with my friends and spotted him from a far and sent him a message telling him I was also there, he sent me one back saying he couldnt meet me because he was with his girlfriend but he'll "make it up to me very soon" I didnt think I was doing anything wrong by going out with him......am i reading too into this or is he expecting more from our friendly meet up!

 I know you already understand what's going on here. Perhaps you don't want to see the truth because you're enjoying the attention. Really, what do you think he wants? If you're such good friends, why didn't you approach him whe you saw him? What does he have to ake up to you?

 It seems to me like he is looking for a casual relationship.
I think you should ask him what his intentions are and find out what he is hoping to gain.
This guy seems to be looking to cheat, i could be wrong.
Best to have a word with him and ask him how he sees the frienship situation.
