 You are basically going through the mostly immature phase in your life during which everything seems so traumatic and immediate - when the reality is that you will someday realize immature part. You will forget about the immediate part and will likely conclude that the immaturity of your acquaintances (and your own youth) were just a phase in all this. Your would be correct.
