I haven't been bold enough to ask her on a date yet, but we're both aware that we're interested in one another as more than friends.Next weekend, M's best friend is flying up to visit and she wants us all to meet this girl. At first, I thought that sounded like a lot of fun, but I heard through the grapevine that she's mostly excited for her friend to meet me. I guess M really wants to hear her friend's opinion on me. I mean, I understand; before I get really involved with a girl, I like her to meet my friends to somewhat "gain their approval."Now, I'm a confident and witty guy (modest, I know) so I've always been comfortable meeting new people. I love getting to know others and there has never been a problem with me being nervous around others. This time, however, I find myself really stressing out about meeting her because (A) I know she'll be hanging on my every word, judging me, and (B) I really really like M and want her friend to speak highly of me once the night is said and done.Maybe I'm overthinking everything, but if anyone has any general advice on how to gain the approval of my love interest's friend to keep me calm, I'd greatly appreciate it.Thank you.

But maybe you're just over-thinking too much. Just relax. It will go fine!! And plus the relationship is beginning for you and M, not her best friend. Don't think of it as a major judgement, besides you mentioned you love getting to know others. :)
