He works all the time, and money is tight. I'm in school, money is tight, and I don't really have the time. I really like this guy. I talk to him all the time and we get along really well. I want to hang out and get to know him more. I was thinking that i could propose a few date ideas for this coming weekend. Keep in mind we are both broke, so we can't like go out to a nice restaurant. I'm a pretty laid back girl. I'm open to anything. I just really want to do something nice for this guy since he's just suffered a loss and is having a hard time. i want to show him that I care.

Do a little investing and see what free events are happening in your town. Some museums have free days, maybe an art gallery. Pack a picnic from home. You can save money that way and it really means something when people put effort into something. Here is an off wall idea, the two of you could volunteer to help out a charity for the day together. This can be fun. Do something good and spend time together.Good luck.
