 Glad to hear your period finally came. Stressing yourself out can cause loads of problems that mess up your system.
Can you imagine what you would be going through if you had had full unprotected sex with your boyfriend by now?
I shouldn't be encouraging you at your age, but what you're doing with him is fine, but please remember, if you're going to get intimate with him, protect yourself.
As for those rotten stomach cramps, lay a hot water bottle, or one of those heated wheat packs over your tummy. The heat really helps.
Now stop stressing, you're too young to be having problems, just enjoy being a teenager.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 September 2008): hey there, if u havent had sex then u cant be pregnant, and thus any delay is just ur hormones. its ok to have those swings. for example with me, my period stabilised for some time a year ago and now its all over the place because ive got a stressfull job so it can be anything from 25 days to 33, so a bit unpredictable. but they say that by your mid twenties it should finally stabilise...

Yes, it is normal to have a late period when you're stressed. I had a length of time where I was under extreme stress not long ago, and my period was irregular for several months. Just wait and see, your period will no doubt return.
