I was also able to see one or two emails where she maintained active contact. Reading one or two of the emails it wasn't anything other than trivial conversations.Nevertheless I told her immediately that I had seen her dating profile and didn't know she was still on the site. She assured me it was what she did for entertainment and immediately deleted the account. It surprised me and gave me the message that she valued what we were building. It so happens that I have a learned distrust in females (the majority I have been with have lied, cheated or tried to emotionally manipulate me in some way). I decided to see if she was telling the truth and searched the dating site for her profile. I didn't find the one she deleted but I did find a new one she made (she lied to me).It was upsetting to say the least but now I want to just leave her alone and carry on with my life. Does this decision seem justified. Or should I trust a little more? So far everything seems like we are building something nice. We've even talked about the future and we have had some very close moments. It makes no sense that she would be doing anything more than just socializing. I'm just frustrated that she would lie to me. Thank you all for your posts. Reply to this Question Share |

Yes, leave now. If she's made another one, then she has lied and is searching for something. If it was a friends site, then that would be okay. But it's a dating site, so get away from her now.
