A female United States, anonymous writes:

One of my very good friends has been dating this guy for a little over 6 months now. I personally think that they moved too fast, and I'm not 100% sure what I think of this guy. Recently a mutual friend of mine found my friends boyfriend's personal ad on a dating website. It's been there for a long time, and still hasn't been taken down. Should I tell her that it's there or just ignore it? I'm just afraid that he is cheating on her or going to hurt her in the future... any advice??

eyeswideopen agony auntNever ever mess with a friend's personal business unless they ask you to. It's one thing to be a sympathetic ear or a shoulder to cry on when there's trouble but never be the instigator. Be a good friend and mind your own business.

Straight Up agony auntWell it has been 6 months so I think you should tell her but be very sensitive when you are doing. But before you do that weigh out the pros and cons

For example what if he just couldn’t be bothered to take it down. What if you ‘re reading to much into things so just be careful as you could lose your friend in this process so do some of your own investigation first before you tell her anything
