I have a boyfriend of 2 years who I love, and I don't want to hurt him, but I'm confused. Should I tell my lecturer how I feel? It's going round and round in my mind all the time and I'd appreciate some help! x

Hey I only just read this and it was a while ago you posted your comment. How did it go? I've got a lecturer at my uni who I think is so lovely and dreamy lol but I would never do anything about it and I have a boyfriend too. But tell... what happened?!xxx

I'm guessing that British universities have the same kind of ethical requirements on their students and/or professors. I'm willing to bet that your lecturer has some kind of clause that he is not to become romantically involved with students... especially those enrolled in his classes. That said, I think it would be a very bad idea (boyfriend or not) to pursue this as anymore than an unobtainable fantasy on your part. The consequences for both of you could be VERY bad (in his case, he could easily get sacked).
Although it might seem flattering to express your romantic desires for your lecturer, but I think the end results could be very bad.
