writes: im 16 year old male an i think im in love with my best friend (who is a girl btw).i have known her for about a year and we hit things off from the start, people have always commented on how close we are saying things like we seem to have known each other for ever :).but recently i have started to like her alot, and after a drunken night out i told her i loved her but she said she could tell but valued me as her best friend too much. which i said fair enough because she is my BF.what should i do now? do i ask her out on the note it might ruin our friendship or i get rejected, or do i leave it an see how things go? Hmm. I think when a girl says "I value your friendship to much," that could translate into..."I'm not interested in you in that way, but I dont want to hurt your feelings so I will just tell you I value our friendship too much."
Usually, if a girl likes you, she is just waiting for you to ask her and she will jump for joy and make it official. I think maybe she just wants to be friends. I think she gave you her answer already.
