We both cared about each other alot and were both ready to take on the responsibility of a child. One night when I was 3 months pregnant. He left to his friends and didn't come back till the next morning. Right after he arrived he left to work. A few hours later someone came and said that he raped their niece, his friends mom. So he got arrested and his orignal charge was rape but he only got charged with attempted rape cause there was not evidence. He did a year and has two year parole. We have not been together since the day he got arrested. Though I dont know why. He is not registered on megans law at age 20, but he wants to be part of my life. and i'm actually thinking about it. I dont think that he did it, he's never show any signs of being like that and I'm just so confused what should I do? Reply to this Question Share |

If it came down to her word against his in court then there is really no way to tell, but why on earth would she make something like that up?
He may not be like that with you, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a dark side. Many serial killers had families and kids at home.
The UK's worst ever serial killer is Harold Shipman and his wife is still insisting he's not like that, he didn't do it.
I think that considering how low the conviction rate is for rape, if he got found guilty, then there is a pretty good chance he did it.
He should be able to have supervised access to his child but I would be very careful!
Good Luck!! xx
