I think you have got to be honest with your girlfriend and tell her you have fallen in love with someone else, she deserves not to be lead on.
But before you go making any rash decisions make sure its love you are feeling and not a five minute lust thing. Sometimes its so easy to confuse love & lust, just make sure you know which one is which.
Good luck

If he insist that you go out together make excuses and try not to see her or talk to her. If you know this girl is at your friend's house don't go until she's gone. As you might not want to make your friend and you girlfriend suffer you might want to protect yourself from suffering also.

If you're in love with someone else, end your relationship ASAP. Your current girlfriend doesn't deserve to be put through any pain because of your desires. From there, you wait it out, and see if it doesn't work out with your friend and his girlfriend. Then get your friend's ok. Just understand that it may not be, and that you may have to wait a while.
