writes:Ok this is a bit weird but can you tell me what you think of this. Right theres i lad ive been in love with for about 7 months, we're on the same course and everything. He showed signs he liked me ranging from staring to the softness in his voice when he talks to me and things people had said that had hinted something. About a month into this i started showing them back, it was mainly the staring that did it and it was such deep eye contact it was so intense at times. I always thought the others in the group knew something and they accused me of liking him afew times even though to them i just kept my mouth sut cuz i didnt want them to know. These signs got stronger and stronger. Then they sorta varied from day to day, soemtimes they were so strong it was like it wasnt real but then other days it would only be abit. A mate of mine(and him and this lad arent gd mates or anything, they dont talk much)tried to find out off him if he liked me and was just talking about what they thought about me in general and this lad just assumed what would be said and that he doesn't have feelings for me, then when he got told later that night in the conversation that i liked him he said he would say anything but if he was being honest he's choosing to stay single so wouldn't go out with me. Although he did say dont tell her but he did anyway. Since then the signs and staring dont happen as much but they do occassionally, and a mate of ours has found out i like him and has been talking to him about it(they havent said but it was obvious from what was being said) and shes been winding me up infont of him and rubbing his hair and everything so its obvious he knows i told her. But this is the thing, yeah hes quiet in general and since last xmas when he first started showing signs he hasn't spoken to me much!! I'm not kidding he speaks to everyone but he wont't talk to me! I dont know why! Also back in march before he found out i liked him he moved a row behind me to sit with my mate(he doesnt fancy her and i know that)whereas he used to sit with me. Now i go to sit with her at the back and if i sit enxt to her he won't sit ont hat back row with us, its like he wont sit next to me! he's the same in the hall, he wont sit next to me, the other day i was sitting so i could see everything in the hall which is the position he lieks to sit in and there were two seats free one either side of me and my mate opposite and i was there so he sat next to her, then when i went outside with another friend we came back and he'd moved to the seat that was next to me. I don't get it why wont he willingly talk to me or sit with me!! he still does stare at me but not as much but from watching him and how he is with others ive noticed he only stares at ME like that and i've realise it was looking into my eyes whereas before i couldn't actually tell. Why won't he talk to me or anything? he did say he wouldn't treat me any differently cuz of me liking him and he hasn't, hes always been quiet in general but now it seem he just wont! This is what confuses me so much!! Cuz he shows he likes me a lot and i thought some of the others knew something like that he liked me and then he says that he doesn't and then he still shows it and a mate starts winding us up and then he does this! Hes a ncie guy in general and would never hurt anyone, i suppose he's really rare to find! I just dont get it why wont he talk to me or sit with me or anything, he'll sit opposite me but not enxt to me and he doesn't normally like having his back to the hall which he did that day that i mentioned back there. i dont know whats going on!!  i had this problem with a guy i liked in fact i thought i loved him!! he just carried on ignoring me and i ignored him too which i regret i wish i had talked to him and asked him why hes being all weird but instead i did the same now 3 years on we still dont talk. when you finally talk to this guy if he doesnt listen he is not ready for a relationship and is too embarased at the thought a girl likes him! that was my guy! so go talk to him!! goood luck!! xxx

 Walk up to him and ask him out on a date. Whatever it is you kids do for fun these days. Text messaging or being emo or playing World of Warcraft together or who knows what. If he doesn't say "yes, okay," then there you have it.
