The only trouble is, we've gotten so so close lately, I'm beginning to feel more than just friendship towards him.I'm not sure if he feels the same way, and I'm too scared to say something incase he doesn't and it ruins the special thing we have now. A lot of people have said just tell him and see what happens, but I really don't want to take that risk...any ideas?!Help!

Being in this situation myself once, I say go for it :D
I did, and I can happily yell you he felt the same way about me :D
I was over the mooooon!
:D hehe
Anywayy
If you don't wanna ask him out-right, ask him indirectly
or
get someone else to
eg
get another friend who knows him quite well to do a "rating scale"
Friend A - knows him quite well
Him - obvs him
You - obvs you
Friend X, Y, Z - potential "candidates"
ok
so, what you do is get FA [Friend A] to ask Him how much out of 10 he rates FX
he says something like "ooh 5/10"
ask why
thn the same again for FY
he says "4/10"
ask why
catch my drift so far?
Then, FA asks Him what he thinks about You.
this is when he says 10/10!!!!
yay!
If he does, you wil defffffo have no problem with him :D
[this usually works better if Him & FA are quite good mates already otherwise if its one of your girlfriends it may be blatently obvious... but if done right it can work wonders ;) Also, it works best if it is made into a game. ie, take 3 ppl and rate them. With Him asking FA about their people chioce too :)]
Hope this helps
Good Luck!

Yeah, this is tough... but sometimes you have to risk everything in order to get things out in the open. Sure, there's a risk that you could be wrong... but why think about it like that... think that you're right, reach over and plant a big wet kiss on him and see what happens!
Here's another thought for you: if you're wrong and he doesn't see you the way you see him, if he's as strong a friend as you think he is, he's going to be flattered and not repulsed. I really think the ball's in your court now... take the leap of faith and see what happens... who knows? ...you might be the happiest woman in the UK by this time next week!
