I am going to become more confident and figure out who I am and what I want in life. I'm going to get out there and meat new people etc.Starting as I mean to go on I have agreed to go to a new years party with my friend and her parents as a local country pub with a disco etc. Not something I'd usually do, and even more out of character I'm going to be wearing a dress :-O lol. I was hoping that others would be able to share any similar stories that theyve been through etc to hopefully give me more confidence about doing this and to help keep me motivated to do it.I know it wont be easy, but I know it will be worth it in the end.so please if you have any advice/words of wisdom etc that you would like to share then i would much appreciate it

Hi, call me Joe. I've always been popular, and I can tell you right now that nothing matters except personality. Looks, mystery, makeup, they're all helpful. But what youreally have to do is be a little louder and charismatic. Despite the deepsewn fear of embarrassment, nothing is going to happen to you for making a comment you usually think but don't say! And any guy is happy to talk to even a below average girl if he's alone or single. Just go and talk to whoever you want! It's nothing like in the moves, I promise. --joerns
