writes: Iv been dating my girlfriend for around 4mths now and im joining the royal navy july 9th. we're both really in love and it was fate. she now lives 2.5hrs away but we still see each other and very much in love. in the navy i get weekends off and can go see her. how do i tell her everything will be fine and we'll work around employment issues. this can work out if we think positive..right?

 Thinking positively about it is definitely a good start...you really need to make the effort to reassure her that you want to be with her and you want it to work...has she suggested anything that might make you feel like this or is this something that is worrying you?
