Firstly i dont like the sound of you spending a few nights with this person who you barely know. This will probably lead to sexual activity, and you need to concider if this is what you want because is it really worth it when it could lead to your family and friends disowning you?
Another obvious concern is how can you know 100% you wont be in any type of danger? You should ALWAYS put your own personal health and safety before anything else.
In my personal opinion this doesnt sound a good idea. What ever you choose to do i hope it turns out okay for you.

 Let me start out by saying congratulations on finding someone. Internet dating for anyone can be dangerous. If you don't feel comfortable staying there, get a hotel room so you can still see him. Make sure you talk to him as to why, if he cares as much as you say he does he shouldn't have a problem with understanding and waiting.
