Focus on making YOURSELF happy, your family will follow suit. If you start thinking more positively about yourself, they'll think positive with you. If you motivate yourself to go on a 45 minute walk a day, make healthier eating choices and work on getting those grades up, you'll feel amazing about yourself.
Like 'anon' suggests, join an activity that you can get into. I'm big into theater and recommend it highly! Even if you're not crazy about the stage, be a techie or a set or costume designer. Start volunteering or join a club at school. Get yourself out of the house spending time with yourself and cool, new people.
Nobody is perfect, sweetness, but everyone can be happy if they seek it. If you push yourself to feel better about yourself, you'll get a big reward of fulfillment at the end.
Good luck!
