A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have known this guy since I was a little girl, our families are beyond best friends. We have been spending a lot of time talking, and I am quickly becoming infatuated with him, because he's been exposed to me and my family life so much, he understands me. The only problem? He is 24 and i'm 15. I know how wrong this is, but because we're around each other so much I am developing feelings for him, but I know its so wrong. What should I do?

It's okay to have a crush on him--it's only wrong on his part if he acts on anything. Don't tempt him with anything that could cause him to get into trouble. Leave it be for now, we all have a time (or a few times) in our life when we have a crush or are infatuated with someone that we can't have or be with for that time. Think with your head and don't let your emotions consume you.

yes I see where you are going but if you have known him this long do you and him a favor and wait a few years. Most states have laws till at least 16-18. Any age before that could get really bad especially for him with the laws. Try to avoid him for now as much as possible. Later on if something happens that would be different. I do know people with 10 year differences that are married.
