It's only about 45 min. away from the university that I attend but with no car and the fact that I haven't driven in over a year, it seems like a long way. I live in dorms, so no permanent housing by my school at the moment. I'm going back soon for the next semester. There's someone I'm interested in though and he lives here. Not really a romantic interest since I don't really know him. He just intrigues me, he's a puzzle for some reason and I want to figure him out. Problem is, I've never even spoken to him. The only thing I've managed to do is make eye contact. Pathetic, I know. I'm not good with socializing. I don't know how to approach him without seeming insane or like one of those flaky girls. Plus, there's the issue of me being 45 min. away soon. If I try to start a friendship or simply a "getting to know you" sort of relationship would it still work if I'm in another town and car-less? This is definitely not a crush. At first I thought it might be but I've had my fair share of crushes and this is not one of them. I don't really want to see if we have anything in common, or anything mushy I just want to get rid of this niggling feeling that the curiosity is giving me. Help?
