 No you're not being selfish... you're exploring new territory TOGETHER. If she's strictly against it for some reason, find something else to explore TOGETHER. She may be interested in hanging upside down during sex... but maybe you get migraines from that.
The key word is to pick something to do TOGETHER.

 I don't think you're being selfish. The anus is a very sensitive and erogenous zone, and wanting to touch and be toughed there doesn't make you gay.
