We've been living in for 3 years now.When we first got together, he said he wanted to get married and have children but every time i tell him i'm ready to start a family he thinks of some reason to put it off.He now tells me he's terrified of the responsibility that comes with having a child but he realises that it is not fair to me if we dont have a child.I'm confused!What does he really want?  I think that your man of 3 years is getting comfortable with just you two. And he might want to have children with you, but not at this time. I wouldn't give up the dream of having children with him. Just don't bring up that subject of having a child...and he might just surprise you and bring it up himself!
