I've been with my boyfriend for four years, but it's weird because he tells me he doesn't see himself getting married or raising a family.the problem is I do, and I had been hoping it'd be with him, so what am I sticking around for? Don't get me wrong, our relationship wasn't in vain. I love him, but I know you can't force someone to change their minds with decisions like that and I won't try to. Yet this is starting to making me resent him as we go further. I feel like I'm getting to the point where I should at least be dating someone that has the same life goals as me. How should I handle this? Reply to this Question Share |

I agree, move on. Otherwise you will just keep resenting him more and more and things will not get any better.
