I'm attracted to a colleague's brother

Question - (6 June 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 6 June 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I'm really attracted to my colleague's brother. She is on a trustee board with me, and introduced us at a social event. Since then she has invited me and him to other events, and we always end up talking and dancing together. A couple of innocent kisses, but that is as far as it has gone.

It's the first time in ages I've really liked a guy (ended last relationship last Sept) but am worried about complicating working relationship if something happens with the brother. Should I just give up, or could there be hope here? Is it the worst idea in the world to even attempt a relationship with this guy?

A male reader, Universe Man United States +, writes (6 June 2010):

Relationships are complicated. Mature people deal with complications in mature ways. If it turns out that either one of them is immature, well, you can extricate yourself from relationships with them.

Sounds romantic. Go for it.
