I'm angry and upset that he stayed at hers when all he had to do is get a taxi home.

Hi can anyone help me? I've been seeing this guy for the last 3 months. We've been taking it slow as I have a daughter from a previous relationship he has not yet met. I usually see him on Sat night and stay at his house and two other times during the week in the day. I was really begining to feel a connection with him until he told me that he had been out with an old flame whom he had unfinished issues with. He told me that he felt nothing for her, but had to go out with her to see. This I could handle then he told me he had stayed the night at her flat. He assures me nothing went on, he told me he didn't want us to have any secrets that's why he told me. My first impression of this is that he is playing games with me. I supposed I'm pleased he told me, but its left me feeling with a knot in my stomach. He says he wants to be with me and that seeing this ex has put a final nail in the coffin of that relationship. But I'm angry and upset that he stayed at hers when all he had to do is get a taxi home. Can anyone help?
