I think sometimes people sense that you respect yourself and may not want to mess with you- I know the reason people didnt hang out with me was because I was mature and didnt drink and had an odd and different sense of humor, even when I did seek out their company they often turned me down. It can hurt. If I were you, I would just turn the other way- get involved in sports or clubs or art or music- meet people through there and you will end up going on trips with them. Or plan an end of the school year or b-day party/ bash and invite those who you wish- make the move for them to hang out with you on your terms. Get your foot into the door. Hope this helps? If not- check with your school councelor. Life can get tough at your age.
