reader, anonymous, writes (14 January 2010): This is an irrational fear, and you may very well need to go seek some professional assistance in dealing with it. Sex is seldom painful, and your man seems to be more than tolerant, but your fear could be doing serious damage to your relationship.
You need to face this fear for both of your sake. Seek help from a good councilor.

 My advice is to get comfortable in your own skin and around your partner's own skin. Relax, enjoy the moment, have tons of foreplay (important!!) as it helps relax you and gets you in the mood as well as helps you to produce lubrication for sexual intercourse...though having some lube with you comes handy! Just relax and enjoy!
