I just found out I have chlamydia and I'm so afraid to tell my boyfriend! I had unprotected sex before him and I got together. I shouldve gotten checked before sleeping with him but I didn't. I'm so scared he's going to leave me! This is the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with! Might he stay with me?

tennisstar88 agony auntLet's put it this way, he's more likely to leave you if you don't tell him and has to find out thru symptoms.

If you tell him, you stand a chance of him staying with you.

Honey, you have to tell him! Honesty is the best policy. If you dont tell him and god forbids he finds out from someone else you might have told then that will be 100 X worse! Just explain to him that before you two got together, you had sex with someone else and got chamlydia. The good thing is that it is treatable. I think he will be understanding, and he will stay with you but only if you tell him right away! It's not like you maliciously tried to ruin his life, you made a mistake but it was before you two even started dating.

Honeypie agony auntHe might stay if you are open and honest, but you NEED to tell him, so he can get treated too or he might pass it back on to you or to other unsuspecting women. Which is a callus thing to do.
