Either way you need to see a doctor and get antibiotics to get rid of it. cranberry juice will ease the symptoms but it won't cure it. It's not a big deal so don't feel embarrassed it's actually very common. you need to see the doctor right away though because these kinds of infections are painful and they can get worse in just a day.

Hi, I don't want to scare you too much, it's probably just a UTI, but blood in the urine is not normal. It is a sign that you need to see a doctor right away. Don't let some small problem that could have been easily treated grow into a massive infection, okay? We have no way of telling what you actually have going on, you need to be examined by a doctor. Drinking cranberry juice and crossing your fingers isn't the smart way to keep yourself healthy. It's well-intentioned, but it's not good enough.
Blood in urine signals "See the Doctor, Now!"
Good luck.

Relax. If you're unsure of this at all, you must talk to the doctor. Only they can make sure you're fit and healthy. Don't be afraid to talk to your mom. But if you don't think you can, still go to the doctor.
