But I did a dumb thing and I'm sick about it. A couple months ago, I "experimented" with a girlfriend of mine in some homosexual ways. I'm wondering if I'm still a virgin, technically? I'm going to confess to him, but that in particular is an issue. Any advice???

 Dont worry you are still a virgin...Everyone has expirimented at one time or another but that doesnt mean your not a virgin. The second that a male penis is inside you is when your not a virgin anymore.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 July 2006): This depends on what you believe in religiously. If you're religious, I believe male penial penetration is the only way to 'lose' your virginity. If you're not religious, this is relative to what you think losing your virginity means.
Usually, losing your virginity means you've had some sort of intercourse. IMO, I think only women can actually lose their virginities, where as the male counterpart of virginhood is really a mindframe. 8]
