 Take things slowly. Make sure that you're relaxed. You may want to try lubrication. Communicate with him, and let him know what hurts, and what doesn't. You'll be ok.

 It depends, when you say big do you mean long or thick? Long isn't a major problem, although if you're feeling pain it might mean he's banging against your cervix, in which case he should slow down and not thrust so deep. If he's thick just make sure you're very turned on before he tries to enter you and maybe have him stretch you a little with his fingers first. I guess my tip would be to try not to worry about this, since the tenser you are, the more itll hurt, when in reality it doesn;t hurt that badly!
