Im 16, and the thing is, I play the violin and I'm in intermediate (between beggining and advanced) orchestra at my highschool. After playing horrible at a concert, I felt upset and started practicing more because I'm not that good. Then I met a girl I seldom see because she's a senior and is in advanced and when she saw I was upset practicing, she began to teach me play my instrument afterschool, somtimes regularly. Basically, I'm a sophomore and she is a senior. I think I fell in love with her after she left for a while and I'm a girl myself. I jus't don't know. Maybe it was just because she helped me when I was upset. Everytime she helps me practice, I feel like I don't want it to end. To me, her fingers feel so warm and I just wanted to hold her and not letting go. When I didn't see her for a while, it was like something was missing. I felt like holding and kissing her softly. The problem is mainly that we both are girls and I know I'm straight, or that I'm very sure I am. The other one is that I'm not really sure if I do like her or not. Before she started helping with my music playing afterschool, I only knew her as someone to say hi to (And that she's my orchestra class's studend aid). I don't know what do I do?

There is a thing can't remember name for it when pupil falls for teacher. Its happened to me at the age of 55! The sex of the person is not the issue, its what one feels and how to deal with it! Hard. Go out with your friends enjoy, find one you can confide in.

Maybe you love her in a friend way, I would say homoerotic feelings instead of homosexual. The main difference is that the first one connotes feelings tof desire of longing between members of the same sex, but not necessarily the desire of sex.You must look deeply in urself and see which one prevelants. In my opinion,we're all androgenic(means we have the sides of male&female)and hormones of course, so its is not strange. Just you need to find out if you are attracted to boys too.:)
have a wonderful day

It's not uncommon to have an attraction for someone who's helped you in different situations or comforted you when you're upset. Be thankful she's helping. The violin is a beautiful instrument.
