I think people would have a problem with it. Is it weird? I know it could never be anything serious. I don't want it to be, as I haven't been in any relationship since my long term one finished up a year ago. He seems fun. I know if he was 23 and I was 17 there wouldn't really be a problem but cos I'm 23 and he's 17 I feel like there would be. Any help? Any advice please? Let me know. Reply to this Question Share |

I can somewhat relate to this because I am 21 and liked an 18 year old at one point. I dont think it's wrong to like someone younger than you and if you really like him you shouldn't care what people think. You do need to realize though that with an age difference like that and the fact that he's still a minor, legally it would be considered statutory rape, and could be dangerous. You need to talk to him about that. It is really easy to like a guy younger than you because they are still so young and so much fun and you feel like you can be more yourself around them. Just know what you are doing and follow your heart.
