I have been with my partner for over 3 years and have always had to put up with feeling second best to either his friends, football etc and he always starts shouting if I ask why he won't spend at least one full day on a weekend with me. He always replies that I just don't want him to have a life, which isn't true. I just don't know how to make him want to spend more time with me.

hello sweety i think that you need to take a leaf out of his book.I`m sure that you have got friends too that you can go out with etc so why not give him a taste of his own medicine. The more you pester him about spending time with you the more he will try to rebel so i think that you need to use a little reverse psycology. If you tell a child you have to do this, be that etc what happens they rebel so make your own little escape just as he has.men naturally can be a little insensitive to the needs of their women but if you can show him it really doesn`t bother you he may ask you for time together ?i hope this may be of some help to you sweety. And just remember afterall he is just a man as the song says.
