I wouldn't say that you are young unless you are about 16 and under masturbating everyday. To be honest that would be a turn on for me but for you if you do it to the point that it gets in the way of daily activities like Laura1318 said then you may need to see if you can slow it down. Masturbation is your own sexual release but don't let it get to the point that you can't go a day without doing it.

It is an obsessive and compulsive behaviour and can interfere with your daily life. Other areas of your life may start to suffer.
In the long run , you may have this OCD syndrome

Mostly, if it gets in the way of your life and stops you going out and socialising and meeting new people, then it can be problematic. It will stop you from being able to explore your sexuality more openly and in a real person-to-person interaction.
If, however, it is simply part of you exploring your sexuality and what it is you like and don't like, then embrace and enjoy it! You're at a beautiful age to be enjoying exploring your body and what makes you tick, so embrace it - jsut don't let it become the only thing you do ;-)

It's bad if it somehow gets in the way of real life. If it gets in the way of useful interaction with people in the real world, ya, it's a problem. If it's just using up your private time, no problem.

Depends on if you see it as being bad or not. At 18+ you may be reaching your peek of sexuality, therefore I'd say it'd be more normal that, if single you'd release the built up tension in this way.
