writes:I a 16 year old Christian. i just had sex with my boyfriend last week. we were protected but i'm still scared of getting pregnant. i'm not on the pill, but he did use the condom. i just have all these thoughts running through my mind.."WHAT IF!?" and it just scares me. What should I do ?

reader, anonymous, writes (23 December 2007): Hi Lovely,My advice would be to try and stay as calm as you can and go and buy a pregnancy kit to put your mind at ease.I was sixteen when I lost my virginity to my boyfriend and we used a condom but just like you I was terrified afterwards and thinking 'what if?'.I wasn't pregnant in the end and Im sure you won't be either! Talking it over with my two best girlfriends helped a lot, maybe you could do that too? Girlfriends are a great comfort in times of boy-related crisis and worry!Don't worry, Im sure you'll be absolutely fine.xxx

 yes you should got to the store and get a pregnancy test but if it test negative (which is what you want)then your only half clear, theres still a possiblity! give it a couple of weeks and it make sure you keep track of your periods then if you miss your period i suggest you go to the doctor get an ultra sound and make sure.GOOD LUCK!!!-dev

 Hun i doubt your pregnant, especcialy if you used a condom and especially if nothing went wrong with it (i.e broke/split) and no semen got near your vagina. Give it two more weeks and take a test to ease your mind a little bit. Message me for more advice hun, I'm here to talk x
