 first of all i don't think he's a very nice guy to be bagging his girlfriend to you..if he doesn't like her, tell him to break up with her! second of all, the age difference in nothing, im 17 and my boyfriend is 27, although its a big number if you are mentally as mature as him and have similar interests it shouldn't be a problem.

 I would say this is wrong but only because you say he is with someone and he calls her names and say's that he does not like her anymore.
Surely when you think about that it should be enough to make you get over him, why would you want to be with someone that goes round saying things like that about their current girlfriend.
