I live in quite a rough area and people don't really accept this sort of thing. Should I tell other people? It was a release once I told my friend and mum but there's nobody else I'd trust with it. I'm just really confused, plus I don't know anyone else around here who would swing my way, so I have nobody to relate to. Can you help?

I know it is assumed that people are straight, but that isn't the point really. If you're gay, bi, transexual, etc, then you just have to weigh it - why am I telling people, and who am I sharing the info with. One thing to weigh - there are some gay hate people out there to watch out for.

Good for you telling your mum and best friend, I dont see the need for you to tell anyone else about your sexuality it is private and you should only discuss this on a need to know basis, the same as anyone would.
Relax and enjoy being who you are, dont stress about others and it really is not anyone elses buisness.
