writes:So i'm 14 years old,and there's this teacher at school, she is amazing, like really amazing and i really really like her,she acts so nice to me and like i think i might be in love with her.She acts strange though, telling me i'm beautiful and feels my leg and the like, i really really want to be with her so much and i dont know whether i should tell her. Everyone says she is a lesbian as well and i just wondered how i could kinda find out?It's so distracting and i can't stop thinking about her, i have liked other women but never this much.People at school are suspicious even teachers are the fact she is so nice to me and sticks up for me.I also wondered if there's any way to "subtly" flirt or find out if she's gonna return anything, and whether to tell her?

You might have to track down that kid to hand her the 'luckiest lesbian teenager in the universe' award.
Though I suppose if that teacher was fugly and not at all as hot as she is... her punishment would be dearer. Strange the way the world works.

 What, just on the cheek, or differently? If anything more then you MUST have no more contact like this with her, and you should tell someone - your parents. This is not right - not appropriate. You don't see it clearly as you are v young and in an all-female environment. If there were boys around you too, I am certain you would never think about this teacher - you would have a crush on a boy. She is doing something very wrong. Tell your parents now.

This is not good, its not funny, and no matter what you feel for her, this has gone TOO FAR.
You must tell another teacher IMMEDIATELY.
What your teacher has done is broken the law, and betrayed the trust of your parents, the school and the laws of this country.

reader, anonymous, writes (10 November 2009): This reminds me when I was in grade school anytime my friends and I had a teacher who was younger than forty and wasn't balding we thought he was hot! Anytime he brushed past us or put his hand on our shoulder we thought sure it was love. And we thought for sure we all were going to marry him, I'm 22 now and that certainly was not the case! (and thank god for that) What you're going through is perfectly normal, it's puberty, and you're just starting to really get a sense of what attributes you find attractive in girls and you probably see a lot of that in your teacher. I'm not saying you're creating these things in your mind, but there is a fine line between her touching you for a job well done on a test or something school related and her touching you to ask about something that is clearly inappropriate. I'm guessing this women is at least in her late twenties or older, the point is she's older than you and if she's throwing sexual advances towards you, it's wrong! And you need to realize that, so trying to provoke her to see if she likes you is the wrong way to go about this. I'm not trying to insult you're intelligence but you're only 14, and have nothing in common with your teacher. With age comes wisdom and you haven't lived long enough to really develope your own sense of self, so if this teacher is making advances towards you she's preying on your innocence, which is wrong and why this sort of thing is illegal. My advice is to let this go and find a nice girl who's a STUDENT at your school.

I am a teacher, and any teacher/pupil relationship is totally against the rules.
When you sign up to be a teacher, you agree to abide by certain rules and laws, one of them being to protect the children in your care. You are a CHILD. You are also under the legal age of consent, which means you cannot consent to any romantic or sexual act.
IF she has been touching your leg, she has been touching you inappropriately, and she has already broken the laws and can be disciplined.
Teachers CANNOT have relationships with pupils. It is totally against the law. This applies to both heterosexual and homosexual relationships, and non-sexual overly friendly relationships too.
IF you had a relationship with her She will be sacked, probably charged with gross misconduct, child abuse, and may well be thrown in jail. She will probably be banned from working or being near underage children for the rest of her life, and would probably have to sign up to the sex offenders register. Her life would be ruined.

Read it. The lesbian teacher had an affair with a 15 yr old girl. She is now in jail.
It doesnt matter if you push her into it, or she coerces you into a relationship. It is completely wrong, and she will be punished.
DO NOT pursue this.

I agree with caring guy. Girls do sometimes develop crushes on other girls or women in their teens, but it is not anything to act on, and especially not with a teacher. Just enjoy her friendship and leave it at that. And as caring guy said, any kind of suggestion of anything else could end up with her actually in prison.
These are strong feelings you are having, but they are misplaced. Are there any boys at your school?

In the UK, it is illegal to have sex with a student, and especially if she's still under 16, which you are. She can be sacked from her job, and go to prison. Don't say anything to her at all.
